Nationally, cases were down 11% in the last seven days, 18 % in New Mexico, and 21% in Taos County.
The average daily case count in NM decreased to 265 cases per day last week. Down from 345 the previous week.
Current hospitalizations continue to decline gradually, the 7-day average is 183 . Down from a peak of 932 on Dec 8.
Average deaths per day in NM increased slightly to 14 per day. Having peaked at 36 on Dec 17.
There were no further deaths reported among Taos County residents last week. The total remains at 49 for the pandemic.
There were 27 cases in Taos County last week , down from 34 cases the previous week. Cases averaged 3.9 per day for the last week. To meet the Red-to-Green case rate criteria the weekly count has to remain below 18, equivalent to 2.64 per day.
Testing in Taos County increased to 1,683 tests from 1,116 tests the previous week.
The crude 14-day positivity rate decreased to 2.2%. The crude case rate is at 4.36 cases per day (14-day avg), above the gating target of 2.64. If this situation is confirmed by NMDoH this week, Taos County would go back to yellow. The next NM DoH Red-to-Green data update will be published on Wednesday, March 10.

Goals: 2. Infrastructure (Roads, Airport, Facilities, Water and Sewer)

Summary/Background:

This grant application is due March 15, 2021, with project determination taking place in summer 2021, and funds becoming available fall 2021.

This will be considered phase 2B of the Camino del Medio project. Phase 1 is for the construction of the bridge which is being funded through Legislative Appropriation. Phase 2A is being funded through the 2020 NM DOT MAP grant for partial construction of the roadway from the Ranchitos Road intersection to the Rio Pueblo crossing. Phase 2B will be to complete the construction of the roadway from the Ranchitos Road intersection to the Rio Pueblo crossing. Phase 3 will be for the construction of the roadway from the Rio Pueblo crossing south to the Town limit.
