Summary/Background: Town of Taos Policy requires Council approval on all budget transfers that transfer funds between costs categories, (i.e. Personnel, Operating Expenses and Capital Outlay, interfund transfer, budget increases, project to projects and new projects. The adjustment in General Fund will increase revenues and expenditures in the amount of $84,000 in revenues and $71,180 in expenditures to cover the cost of hiring a planning technician and associated costs for short term rental software maintenance and reporting. The second item under the Taos Regional Landfill Fund will increase revenues and expenditures in the amount of $20,000 for a donation received from Torch Clean Energy for the cost to install a new gate at the entrance to the landfill.

Contract TT-22-23 in the amount of $52,837 to Advanced Navigation and Positioning Corp is fully funded through FAA 3-35-0041-043-2021 which was passed by Council on September 7, 2021.  The FAA grant agreement award is greater than the contract amount but includes funds for any future maintenance that may occur.
