Development of a thorough destination stewardship plan for Taos’ tourism economy while addressing the community’s common values, growth management, and quality of life preservation. The first phase is to research and learn more about the visitor and local sentiment towards tourism in Taos. Based on these results, a full Destination Management Plan and its implementation would be proposed. Any accepted proposal would be presented to Council for approval.

This is a public hearing to discuss and gather input from the public on the Town's 2024-2028 Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan (ICIP). The ICIP provides a framework for decisions about community growth and development, covers a five-year period, and is submitted annually to the State. Additionally, the ICIP includes funding time frames, estimated cost, justifications, and details of each project by year over a five-year period. The ICIP includes the repair or replacement of existing infrastructure and the development of new infrastructure. An ICIP project must have a lifecycle of at least ten years, is for the repair or the replacements of existing infrastructure, the development of new infrastructure, and the project must be owned by the Town of Taos. Members of the public are invited to present any project ideas.
