The Path to Wellness Recovery Rally on September  24, 2022, in Kit Carson Park, featured a joint proclamation by the governments of Taos Pueblo, Taos County and the Town of Taos. The proclamation supports recovery from substance use disorder (SUD) in Taos County.  Supporting Recovery Month in Taos County is critical to bringing awareness to the disease affecting so many of our family members, friends and loved ones.

Summary/Background:

These trucks were previously approved last fiscal year at the November 23, 2021 Town Council Regular Meeting, however Ford stopped producing them before they got to our order.  One truck will replace unit 65, which currently has 209,000 miles, the other will replace unit 70, and will  become the primary vehicle for Public Works Utility Division, with the current unit 70 to be used within the department as well.
