At the March 28, 2023, Town Council Regular Meeting, the Annual Halloween Event was approved to be held at Kit Carson Park due to road construction and the plaza renovations. The circumstances at the plaza have since changed, and the Annual Halloween Event can now be celebrated as in prior years at the plaza.  Due to the relocation of the Annual Halloween Event, Town Council approval is required.
