Summary/Background:  Town of Taos Policy requires Council approval on all budget transfers that transfer funds between costs categories, (i.e. Personnel, Operating Expenses and Capital Outlay), interfund transfers, budget increases, project to projects and new projects.  Item 1) is increase expenditures in the LEFP Fund by $1,264 from the carryover amount in 2017 that was never originally budgeted, Item 2) is transferring out $240,000 from the Taos Regional Landfill Fund to the Landfill Equipment Fund to cover a portion of the total amount needed to purchase a 2018 Caterpillar Compactor in the amount of $452,191 and Item 3) is increasing revenues and expenditures in the amount of $8,000 to cover a new server and perform data migration, both needed in order to run the upgrade of Full Court Enterprise Software for the Judicial Department.
