The Town of Taos has budgeted revenues (54-00-36001) and expenditures (54-25) in the amount of $50,000 for the purchase of a street sweeper. The Town has also budgeted $250,677 for the balance of the purchase of the sweeper.
This grant agreement will expire June 30, 2020.

The Town of Taos has budgeted revenues (59-00-37015) and expenditures (59-85) in the amount of $75,000 for repairs to Camino del Medio. The Town has also received a New Mexico Department of Transportation Cooperative Funding grant (59-11) in the amount of $100,223 and budgeted a match (59-21) of $33,408 for the cutlerizing of Camino del Medio.
This grant agreement will expire on June 30, 2022.
Summary/Background:
The Taos Electric Vehicle Expo which is going to be held September 8th at Bataan Hall from noon to 6pm would like to have Civic Plaza Drive closed from Placitas to Hinde Street. The event will have electric cars for display on the street for people to observe hence the need for road to be closed.

Each member municipality in good standing that is registered and attending the Annual Conference shall be entitled to one delegate vote in electing officers, deciding municipal policy and voting upon all other questions at the Annual Business Meeting. The voting delegate must be from the members municipality. The Mayor can delegate any Town of Taos staff member who is attending the NMML Annual Conference as the voting member. Pursuant to NMML guidelines the selection of a voting delegate and alternate needs to be presented for Council approval.
