Summary/Background: Town of Taos Policy requires Council approval on all budget transfers that transfer funds between costs categories, (i.e. Personnel, Operating Expenses and Capital Outlay, interfund transfer, budget increases, project to projects and new projects.  Item 1) We are increasing revenues and expenditures in the amount of $2,000 for a Grant received from the American Library Association for expenditures related to the 2020 Census education program that the Library is proposing.  2) We are increasing revenues and expenditures in the amount of $430,604 for the rehabilitation of runway 4-22, $387,542 from FAA, $21,531 from the State and $21,531 from the Airport Construction unreserved fund balance.  3)  Changing the existing project and funding from El Valle Ranchos Vault to Scheurich & Other Sewer Line Improvements.

Summary/Background:

 

The Runway 4/22 pavement preservation project will consist of removing markings, cracks to be routed, cleaned out and filled with crack seal.  Following the crack sealing, a rejuvenating seal coat will be applied, the pavement markings will be repainted and Type 1, Gradation A glass beads will be applied.  

 

The total estimated cost for the project is $430,604 broken down as follows:

 

Federal Aviation Administration - 90% - approximately $387,543.60 (Approved but not issued).

MMDOT Aviation  Division Grant  SKX-20-04 - 5% - $21,531 (Signed by Town and NMDOT in process of final execution).
