NOTE: This virtual meeting will follow the Attorney General's guidelines and will observe the Governor and Secretary of Health's public health orders. The electronic format will allow the Town Council to conduct the meeting without being physically present and in accordance to the New Mexico Open Meetings Act. There will be no live audience nor officials present at the Council Chambers. This is entirely a virtual meeting. - A. Discussion, consideration and possible approval of Resolution 20-39 authorizing acquisition of a parcel of land north of the Taos Regional Airport (KSKX), which parcel is roughly triangular and exists between the Taos Regional Airport and US Highway 64, such acquisition to be by sale or, if sale cannot be achieved, by condemnation through the alternative method; authorizing the Town Manager to negotiate with the landowner for the acquisition of the property; authorizing the making of formal offers and subsequent initiation of a condemnation action in the event negotiations are not successful; authorizing the Town's Attorneys to obtain a preliminary order of entry; and ratifying all actions previously taken.
